Patrick Daniel is a German-American investor- entrepreneur. After beginning his career on Wall Street, Patrick helped to advise some of the world’s leading hedge funds and venture capitalists on macroeconomic and geopolitical problems. As a fellow at Harvard University, he researched how markets and societies have changed throughout history and how the internet will evolve in the future. He co-founded The Future Society, a non-profit based at the Harvard Kennedy School to raise awareness for problems at the intersection of governance and technology. In Silicon Valley, Patrick has helped early- stage startups accelerate their growth. Patrick is a self- taught programmer and has two undergraduate degrees in financial history and governance & economics and political philosophy. He graduated from the London School of Economics and was named a Young Scholar at the Institute for New Economic Thinking.
